Sport Services
At Quality Fitness NYC we specialize in a vast array of sports including baseball, football, soccer and basketball. Our staff has years of experience at both varsity and collegiate levels. Our specialty is helping your child prepare for their upcoming season/try-out, no matter if it is for little league baseball or varsity soccer in high school. The sport services here at Quality Fitness NYC focuses on both the technical skill needed for their specific sport, as well as preparing them physically by creating an exercise program that will make them stronger, quicker and more agile. Sessions take place anywhere from your home or a local park.
Personal Training Service
Here at Quality Fitness NYC we are very much aware that times have changed. More and more kids prefer to stay inside and play video games or watch tv. Our goal is to make fitness and exercise fun again. We specialize in creating exercise programs that are personalized and interactive for all ages, while making sure it is safe and effective. The exercise programs will focus on improving core strength, balance and their cardiorespiratory system. Regular physical activity is vital to children and adolescents because it will build strong bones / muscles, control weight and reduce symptoms of anxiety / depression.
Quality Fitness Sport Camps
One of our most popular services is our team sport camps. We organize a 1- 2 hour training session with any sport team regardless of athletic level. From Pee Wee Football to Varsity Basketball our camps focus is to incorporate training modalities that are specific to the sport and also provide fundamental techniques that will help any athlete or team gain an edge on the competition. During the camp one of our most important goals is to help develop team chemistry and bonding. We incorporate team building games such as a Tic Tac Toe relay race or capture the flag to create communication and problem solving skills amongst the team. Our camps are very interactive and prior to any session we create a plan that must be approved by the coach of the team. Finally as part of our camps we always complete an injury prevention instructional specific to the sport. In this instructional we demonstrate proper warm-up techniques before a game / practice, as well as proper cool-down methods.
